Ms. Giacomini functions as owner and lead consultant providing individualized consulting services to Sonography programs and provides training materials for faculty and students. After graduation with a Biology degree, she began her career in Pulmonary Research at the University of Pennsylvania as well as the Medical College of Georgia, where she became Technical Director.  She then began her foray into the field of diagnostic medical sonography while working as Chief Technologist of the Cardiopulmonary Lab of a large community hospital focusing on becoming registered in Adult echocardiography as well as later in Vascular Technology. As a dual registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with over 30 years clinical experience including department management, Ms. Giacomini started a business providing contractual sonography services. This included providing cardiovascular imaging services, clinical and equipment  training, as well as didactic sonography instruction.  She is a leading Sonography Education Professional with demonstrated history in the education management industry and as an Institutional Program specialist reviewer in cardiovascular technology and diagnostic medical sonography.   She has functioned as Program manager, clinical coordinator as well as an on ground and distance ed instructor and is well versed in curriculum development, program handbook creation, course instruction, learning management systems, and CAAHEP accreditation, .
